Welcome to my site. Here you can learn about where I come from, what I've been up to since being at UConn and what I plan on doing once I get out.

I was born and grew up in Waterbury, CT. The city has a very rich history and was home to many European immigrants in the late 1800's and up to the 1970s. Once an economically booming industrial town, it has been struggling since manufacturing has been outsourced in the seventies. Unfortunatley, two mayors have gone to jail in the last ten years and most recently our former Waterbury-born governer of Connecticut received a jail sentence but it's nevertheless a town to be proud of. Waterbury was once the great Brass City and has an impressive downtown green that is unique not only to New England but also to the country.

One of the most unusual of the larger railroad stations in New England is Waterburys Union Station.

In Waterbury I lived in Bunker Hill, went to Blessed Sacrament Grammar School and attended Sacred Heart High School (in the heart of Waterbury) before finally coming to friendly Storrs. The first picture below is UConn playing UMass in Hartford. Like many UConn students, I'm a big basketball fan. Go Huskies!

After living in Sprague Hall for 7 semesters I feel like it's my home away from home. There've been a lot of good times here. My first roommate Steve Jung, Nick Chan, Brain Watson and Tom Loiselle are just a few of the guys going back to freshman year who I used to roam and hang out in the halls together with. I'll also take this opportunity to give a shout out to third floor Sprague!
