Like most people I came to UConn when I was 18. I've grown a few inches since then and somehow I think my hair looks a little
different. Freshman year was a blast, although I could have done more studying. I had a lot of fun my sophomore year too.
That year I went to Florida for spring break and had a blast. The summer between my sophmore and junior year I worked in
Thomaston Savings Bank to save up for my junior year abroad in Heidelberg, Germany, which was probably the most fun I've
ever had anywhere or any other time. Coming back to UConn took a little adjusting but it wasn't long after I got settled
in that I left to spend another semester in Heidelberg! This year is my super senior year and I've never been busier, but
I still find time for some fun. Over the last winter break I was lucky enough to make it to Haiti with UConn's Haitian Experience
Group. What a difference Haiti was. It was a great experience and now I'm in my last semester at UConn. It's been a great
five years!

Here's Heidelberg, the city in Germany that I visited while studying abroad. I can't help but dedicate this section to Heidelberg.
I met a bunch of great people there and it'll always be a place dear to my heart. There's a well-known song in Germany that
goes "Ich habe mein Herz in Heidelberg verloren"..."I lost my heart in Heidelberg" and it was true for
a while. Out of all the cities I visited while in Europe I truly believe Heidelberg is one of the most beautiful and special
places and I would love to pay the city another visit during my trip to Europe after graduation.
